Editorial and corrections policy
Everything published on veyrnox.com under /blog, /security, /docs, and the marketing pages is written to the standards on this page. The goal is straightforward: every claim is checkable, every author is a real person with a track record, and every mistake is logged in public.
Authorship
Articles are signed by a named author with a job title, a company, and at least one external profile (LinkedIn, GitHub, or a published paper). We do not publish anonymous or "admin" bylines. Where an article is co-written, both authors sign.
The current active byline is Al Socrates Jobson, Co-Founder and CTO of VEYRNOX LTD (UK Companies House 17299951). Guest authors are labelled as such and carry the same profile requirements.
Sources
Factual claims are sourced to a primary or well-known secondary source. Primary means the original: a whitepaper, an on-chain transaction, a regulator publication, a company press release, an academic paper. Secondary means a reputable outlet that has done the primary work: Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic, Trail of Bits, SlowMist, PeckShield, CertiK, Halborn, IC3, the SEC, the FCA, established academic databases.
Numbered footnotes at the bottom of each article name the source and link to it. Where the source is behind a paywall, we say so.
We do not cite "experts say", "reports indicate", or "some critics argue" without a named source. If the source cannot be named, the claim is dropped.
Dating
Every article shows the original publication date and the last modification date at the top. Numbers with a shelf life (market data, hack figures, market share) carry the date of the measurement inline. Yield figures, exchange fees, and market share are re-verified quarterly. Anything that has not been re-verified in six months is flagged with a stale-data banner at the top of the page.
Risk disclosures
Any article that discusses yield, custody, token purchase, or product features carries a risk disclosure paragraph. VEYRNOX is a software company, not a bank, broker, custodian, or money transmitter. Nothing on this site is investment advice.
Corrections policy
If a reader finds an error in anything we publish, we want to know. Email support@veyrnox.com with the URL and the mistake. We respond within three working days.
When we correct an article, we do three things:
- Fix the mistake in place, without hiding the original text if it changes the meaning of the piece.
- Add a dated correction note at the top of the article naming what was wrong and what it now says.
- Add an entry to the changelog on this page.
Typos and formatting fixes do not require a public log. Anything that changes a fact, a number, a date, a name, a citation, or a recommendation does.
Where the error affects a claim about a third party, we notify that party in parallel with the fix.
